FAQ

What is PPLFlow?

"People Flow" helps businesses of all sizes track who is in the workplace and meet safety responsibilities.

Why should I care about workplace safety?

People are a organisations greatest responsibility. Harmonised SafeWork legislation reinforces this requiring employers and those in control of the workplace to be responsible for the safety, security and compliance of these people.

There are other financial, security and efficiency benefits to this as well.

How does PPLFlow help?

PPLFlow allows a business to achieve aspects of workplace safety without the onerous hours of paper pushing traditionally required.

How does PPLFlow work?

PPLHubs are located at entry and exit points to the workplace. Visitors, Contractors and Employees tap in and out with small stickers or using common transit cards such as MyKi, Opal and SmartRider.

Screens can be placed around the workplace with useful information such as tag boards, location statistics and muster.

Managers can login from any smartphone, tablet or PC to view real time information. It can handle one to hundreds of sites using one login.

Automated time sheet functions can be optionally enabled or disabled where privacy is required.

The system can also be optionally linked to SentryH5* electronic locking to provide a physical means of preventing unauthorised entry.

*Licensed security installer required for SentryH5* installation.

Where would I use it?

Any business that

- needs to know who is inside their workplaces at any time.

- needs to track details of people who visit and/or perform works.

- wants to improve safety compliance.

- wants to give a good first impression to their clients.

Can I customise it for my business?

Yes, background images can reflect your corporate branding and workflows are completely customisable to your workplace policy.

I have different types of people I want to use the system for. Can they have different workflows?

Yes, workflows are customisable between different roles and on whether this is the first time a person has been to the site.

For example on first entrance to a site a contractor can be asked for licensing and insurance information then shown an induction video. Alternately a regularly returning employee can be set to simply tap and go.

What IT equipment to I need?

None, it just needs mobile reception.

How long does it take to get up and running?

Our resellers can typically get the hardware to you within 30 days.

Can you retrofit a current access control system?

Yes we can. In fact most access control hardware can remain in place with PPLFlow.

How much does the software cost?

Please get in touch and we can forward you to a preferred reseller for pricing details.

Why do I have to pay a subscription?

The subscription covers software licensing, cloud storage, cloud backup, system support, online training and updates.

Do you have any Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policies?

Yes. Our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are at the footer of our website. However if you have any questions please contact us and we will be more than happy to answer.

Where is my data kept?

Your data will only ever be kept within Australian Amazon Secure Data Centres.

Why is hosting data more secure?

The system runs through a high security data centre that is monitored 24/7, and always uses the latest updated software.

Amazon Data Centres are ISO 27001 compliant with a comprehensive security policy. The policy covers who has access to the information, threat monitoring and resilience contingency for any physical risks.

PPFlow uses best practice security policies for passwords, data storage and encrypted data transmission. Details of this policy are available at any time on request.

Where are you based?

We are proudly 100% Australian owned and operated.
